Here is good news for the users of Nokia 5530 handset and Nokia 5800 handset. Nokia has decided on making new software updates available for both the handsets – firmware version 32.0.007 is meant for Nokia 5530, while firmware version 52.0.007 is meant for Nokia 5800.
Users will avail the software update through Nokia Software Update. The update will too be available as OTA (over-the-air) updates.
Although both the handsets – Nokia 5530 and Nokia 5800 – have similar features such as small screen and software, it is expected that the software update will bring diverse possibilities in each of the phones.
In XpressMusic Nokia 5800, the software update will abet to enhance performance of the processor, WiFi connectivity, image and video quality. With the update, Nokia 5800 will sport advanced touchscreen features. Also, the phone will possess rotational capabilities. Users will be benefited by all new software for maps. Updates Nokia 5800 will settle all the issues related to Ovi errors.
It is advised that users of both the phones should perform a detail backup of all their data stored on the mobile phone ahead of proceeding with updating process. Users should take the backup even if the handset sports UDP. Otherwise, the update might wipe off all such data.
