WANATALK . A mobile JABBER and BLUETOOTH messenger in a single software.

• No dedicated server needed.
• Connect to any JABBER server and chat or share files with your contacts directly (JABBER, GTALK) or through gateways (MSN, YAHOO, ICQ, AOL, IRC) whatever they are (MOBILE or PC).
• Chat or share files locally with BLUETOOTH.
• Highly customizable.
  

REQUIRED

• CLDC 1.0/1.1 MIDP 2.0 Java Virtual Machine.
• Full web internet gprs/w-cdma/umts connection (no WAP) for the JABBER functionality.
• A handset Java implementing JSR82 (Bluetooth API) for the BLUETOOTH functionality (*) .
  

(*) Warning, if your handset doesn`t implement JSR82, DON`T INSTALL the bluetooth version but the JABBER only version. This can cause application crash.

English and French versions available. Easily localizable in other languages.

FEATURES COMMON TO THE TWO LAYERS

• Manage your profile and your contacts (VCARD+Photo) in a one database shared by the two layers.
• Manage your presence status/text. Presence status can be directed. (ie different to several users).
• Send/receive simple messages, conversation messages, chatroom messages, files, contacts and your profile to/from your contacts.
• Create predefined messages.
• Record to your handset sent and received messages, chatroom and conversation messages history,files and contacts.
• Manage a blacklist (For jabber, implemented by privacy lists).
• Choose your contact presence change and message reception notification (alert, sound, vibration, flash backlight).
• Send/receive files from/to your handset if JVM implements JSR 75.
• Record/read photo/video/sound and send/receive to remote peers.
  

JABBER

• Create/Remove your account.
• Change your password.
• Create your messages in disconnect mode and send them automatically when connect.
• Send messages to offline users.
• Use your GoogleTalk account if your JAVA Handset supports SSL.
• Register/Unregister to gateways(MSN, YAHOO, ICQ/AOL) and chat and share files (MSN only) with your contacts.
• Chat on IRC channels and start private conversations.
• Automatic reconnection when disconnect.
• Create or enter in a chatroom, start private conversations, invite contacts,send them files and multimedia and record the chatroom messages history.
